高中英语教学中中国文化输入的现状分析

摘要

文化输入在英语教学中的重要作用已经得到了外语界的充分认可，然而长期以来英语教学中所遇到的文化一直被教育者和受教育者误认为仅仅是欧美国家的文化，完全与中国文化隔离，直到―中国文化失语症的提出才真正给外语界敲响了中国文化缺失的警钟。从2003年开始，培养学生跨文化交际意识才真正被列为教学目标。十多年已过去，英语教学中文化观是否有所转变呢？在英语课堂教学中，中国文化是否得到了重视呢？课标和教材是否相应地得到了完善？有关用英语表达中国文化的教学现状又是如何呢？
　　上述一系列问题正是笔者的思考，也是笔者写此篇论文的目的所在。带着问题，笔者以郑州市第五中学高一年级的师生为研究对象，经过半年的调查研究和课堂跟踪观摩，对他们正在使用的人教版 NSEFC教材以及该教材的课程标准进行仔细研读和分析，以寻找上述问题的答案。本论文以跨文化交际建构理论与跨文化交际能力的形成为理论框架。研究结果表明:
　　课程标准方面：课程标准对中国文化的界定很模糊，可操作性不强；
　　教材方面：教材中出现中国文化的次数和数量很丰富，但是缺乏高质量的具有代表性的中国文化；
　　教师方面：教师本身对中国文化的掌握存在一定欠缺，自身文化还不够系统，漠视中国文化，存在只重视欧美文化的错误性认识；
　　学生方面：部分学生严重缺乏中国文化的背景知识和对中国文化的敏感度，用英语表达中国文化的能力很差，而且相当一部分学生盲目崇拜西方文化，忽略了本土文化。
　　因此，本研究认为，从大环境入手，利用媒体和多方面渠道给师生补充中国文化背景知识，引导学生树立用英语表达中国文化的意识。关于中国文化的缺失，教育部门应从课程标准、教材、评价体系等方面入手，不断进行完善。教师有责任指导学生有意识地收集反映中国特色文化的词汇，表达方法与背景知识，逐渐培养他们发掘中国文化的自觉性和用英语表达中国文化的敏感性。多渠道扩展和挖掘教学素材，为学生多补充―能量‖。作为学生也要充分发挥自己的主观能动作用，多思考，多阅读，多表达。
