高二学生英语学习策略的调查研究——以焦作市五所高中为例

摘要

随着语言学的发展，人们逐步认识到恰当的语言学习策略可以保证更有效的学习，帮助学习者取得更好的成绩。英语学习策略的研究始于上世纪70年代。中国于80年代开始该项研究。很多研究者都将研究重点放在中学生和大学生语言学习策略的使用上。我国的《普通高中英语课程标准(2011)》也要求英语教师培养学生使用英语学习策略的能力。然而新课标实施以来，英语课堂教学在教学上，低效或无效的英语课堂教学仍普遍存在。在目前英语课堂从以教师为中心向以学生为中心转变的过程中，策略学习指导显得尤为重要。
　　河南省从2010年开始新课标改革。根据新课标的要求，学生必须提高使用英语学习策略的能力和自主学习的能力。因此，探索河南省高中生使用英语学习策略的现状十分必要。本研究以河南省焦作市五所高中的高二学生为调查对象，目的是调查河南省高中生使用各项英语学习策略的现在，以及英语学习策略和学校、性别、英语水平等因素之间的关系。
　　本文作者在河南省焦作市的五所中学发放了300份调查问卷，并回收有效问卷289份。随后对五名学生进行访谈以得到详细的信息。学生分别来自焦作市第一中学、第十一中学、第十二中学、焦作市外国语中学和温县高级中学。研究工具是学习策略研究专家Oxford公布的SILL和统计软件SPSS19.0。
　　本调查研究结果显示:(1)这五所学校高二学生的英语学习策略总体上使用频率并不高。学生对补偿策略的使用相对较多，而情感策略使用相对较少。(2)不同学校的高二学生英语学习策略使用存在显著差异。省重点高中的学生使用英语学习策略水平更高，普通高中的学生则偏低。(3)高二学生性别不同，英语学习策略的选择和使用存在显著差异。女生比男生的英语学习策略选择更多，使用频率更高。(4)高二学生英文成绩同英语学习策略的使用存在正相关的关系。(5)电子设备的使用对英语学习策略的运用有积极和消极两方面影响。
