奥斯卡最佳影片欣赏与非英语专业大学生跨文化意识培养的实证研究

摘要

语言是文化的载体，体现文化又受制于文化。掌握一种语言并不仅限于学习语言本身，同时也要学习和了解目标语所体现或蕴含的文化元素。大学英语教学中，教师应该注重从文化视角进行语言教学，增加学生英语文化知识的输入量，增强学生的跨文化意识。跨文化意识是学生跨文化交际能力的基础，跨文化交际能力是学生跨文化意识的现实体现。只有当一个人具备了一定的跨文化意识，才可能在跨文化交际活动中，把这种意识进而转化为跨文化交际的能力，从而更有效地进行跨文化交际。
　　电影这一视听结合的艺术形式作为教学资源在培养学生的文化意识尤其是跨文化意识中起着重要的作用。本论文以此为借鉴，采用文献资料法、问卷调查法、准实验法和数理统计等方法，对奥斯卡最佳影片欣赏在培养非英语专业大学生跨文化意识中发挥的作用进行实证研究。希望通过此次探索起抛砖引玉的作用，引发大学英语教师和非英语专业大学生对英语文化知识学习和跨文化意识培养的思考与关注，吸引更多大学英语教师为大学英语教学事业发展献计献策。
　　本文共包含六个部分。笔者首先介绍了论文的写作背景，论文的研究目的和基本框架。其次对国内外关于将影片作为教学资源进行影视教学和奥斯卡最佳影片研究现状进行了综述分析。之后介绍了跨文化意识的概念及跨文化意识的四个层次;阐释了跨文化意识培养的重要性，论证了运用影视教学对大学生进行跨文化意识培养的可行性，并阐述了奥斯卡最佳影片作为教学资源所具有的优势。在论文的核心部分，笔者详细阐释了本课题的实证研究过程。笔者从自己的教学实践出发，提出研究假设，研究问题，介绍了准实验研究的过程，并通过数据分析证明，奥斯卡最佳影片欣赏能有效地培养非英语专业大学生跨文化意识;笔者从准实验研究的结果获得启示，提出教师合理利用奥斯卡最佳影片资源进行教学，明确教师角色，课堂上适当的指导和学生的课外自主学习。最后，作者对全文进行了总结，得出结论:奥斯卡最佳影片欣赏能有效培养非英语专业大学生跨文化意识，指出了本研究存在的不足之处，并对未来相关研究提出了建议。
