PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image appreciation system and an image appreciation method capable of easily finding-out a target image while enjoying, in a virtual space where a large number of images can be exhibited.;SOLUTION: An image appreciation system for guiding an appreciator into a virtual space having a plurality of image storage rooms comprises: a camera 10; a server 20; and a mobile phone 30. The image appreciation system comprises: a virtual space data part 25 for generating data for composing an image in the virtual space and displaying the image; an image storage part 22 for holding a reference image; a guidance part 23 for generating data for performing guidance into the virtual space exhibited with the image equal or similar to the reference image from a reference position in the virtual space; and a display control part 34 for receiving the data for the guidance generated by the guidance part 23, and performing control for displaying a guidance image on a display part 31.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
