《罗马法与大陆法系的起源》（第四章）的翻译报告——目的论视角下被动句的翻译

摘要

本翻译报告是从目的论的视角对《罗马法与大陆法系的起源》第四章中被动句的翻译进行探讨和总结。作为英语的常用句型之一，被动句一直以来都是学者们研究的对象。而由于其句型结构特殊，也给被动句的翻译带来了一些困难。因此，如何更好的传递原文信息，让译文读者真正理解原文，成了被动句翻译的重点。本报告归纳并分析了《罗马法与大陆法系的起源》第四章中被动句的特点和类型，然后以目的论三原则为理论基础，对英语被动句的翻译方法进行探讨。研究发现，基于目的性原则，通常将注重动作行为的被动句翻译为汉语无主句；基于连贯性原则，将客观传递信息的被动句翻译为汉语主动句；基于忠实性原则，将特别强调被动含义的被动句翻译为汉语被动句。在忠实于原文的基础上，使译文被动句符合目标读者的阅读习惯。
