On the Block Predictor-Corrector Methods in ODEs with Linear Combination Update

摘要

In this paper, the linear combination update technique (LC) is applied to the block predictor-corrector methods (BPC) for solving the initial value problems in ODEs. When a further update is required for BPC, instead of self-correction, the LC update would give an efficient computation without the additional cost on the evaluation for derivative functions. Moreover, the qualitative analysis could be easily studied since the LC update data is an approximation to the solution data for the corresponding combination of the associated formulae of BPC.
