Supply Chain Coordination under Intervention Events with Sales Effort Effects

For two stage supply chain with sales effort effects which faces stochastic market demand, the coordination may be broken off by intervention events. Using revenue sharing contract based on channel rebate and penalty ,the impact of demand disruptions upon the supply chain coordination is studied. When market scale change is small, keeping the original production plan can achieve the supply chain coordination .When market scale changes significantly, adjusting the production plan and sales effort become necessary. The optimal strategy for supply chain to the interventions by revenue sharing is presented, and an adjusted revenue sharing contract which has anti-intervention ability is proposed. By supposing the relationship between market demand and sales effort is a multiplicative fashion, the optimal models of the supply chain under interventions are established, and numerical examples are made to illustrate the effectiveness of the optimal strategy.
