The paper presents the manner in which is running the high feed milling process in an orthogonal path pocket milling. The experimental modality follows the robust engineering approach, by the Taguchi Method. The milling cutting tool used is a special one because it has a very long overhang relatively at his diameter, so the problems are higher, influenced by the cutting material that is a special, a composite one. The machining accuracy measured is the deviation from the perpendicularity of the vertical walls relatively at the horizontal ones.
