Develop Modified 9Cr-lMo Steel Tube with Round Horizontal Continuous Casting Billet

摘要

The modified 9Cr-lMo steel tube is used to fabricate heater, reheater, steam piping and head because of its excellent heat resistant and anticorrosion property. At present, most domestic companies fabricate the tube with forged or rolled billet. Hengyang Valin Steel Tube Company develops round modified 9Cr-lMo steel billet by owned horizontal continuous casting technique, and fabricate Steel tube in different size by hot rolled and cold drawn technique. Results of comprehensive experiments reveal that the developed modified 9Cr-1Mo steel tube' s internal and external surface condition, chemical composition, metallurgical micro structure, mechanical properties at room temperature and elevated temperature and long-time rupture strength are fully satisfy requirements of correlative specifications, and qualify to fabricate components tor supercritical and ultra-supercritical power plant.
