The main process parameters of 12Cr2MoWVTiB steel 0130mm round billet for high pressure boiler tube has been studied, and analyzed the reason of beginning casting failure and large resistance to stripping, and proposed the key factor of succeed product was V, Ti, B content in steel, beginning casting process, liquid steel superheat, taper of mold, reverse-pushing, and advised the proper control area.
