This paper analyzes the impedance characteristics of the sandwich piezoelectric transducer. The principle of automatic frequency tracking for the power ultrasonic vibration system is summarized and a new design of control system for micro-manipulation generator was presented. According to the system guideline and the idiographic need,the circuit such as the filter, the inverter, the control and the frequency tracing circuit are all discussed. Integrated the DDS technology to generate frequency signals and the high-voltage operational amplifier PA85 to achieve a linear power amplifier, it could continuously adjust frequency and allow for rapid changes in frequency, with the advantages of small output ripple and wide frequency range; the generator is designed with the functions of soft-starting, dead time control, the protection of current limit overflowing, driving self-protection and overheat. This greatly enhanced the ease of use and stability of micro-manipulation generator. Based on the theoretical design, the circuits of the ultrasonic control system are practically manufactured. After the ultrasonic power and transducer work in coordination, the model machine is produced. And the experimental results are discussed. The conclusion reveals that the power has high reliability and better dynamic adjustment property. And the experimental research was also carried out.
