The Cristina quarry is located between the districts of Lurin and Pachacamac, province of Lima,department of Lima. Limestone material is extracted from the quarry as raw material for cementproduction and is basically made up of a hill ecosystem. Which have special ecological conditions;these plant formations appear during the winter period or wet season that fluctuates between themonths May and October. The present investigation involves the participation and investment of twoprivate companies, as well as the participation of the communities of Cucuya, Manzano and Cardal.The objective of this pilot is to determine the most successful restoration methodologies to initiate therecovery of the ecosystem within the 500 clearing deposit, based on the Guidelines for the restorationof forest ecosystems and other wild vegetation ecosystems R.D.E. N ° 083 -2018- MINAGRI -SERFOR-DE. The first step was to carry out a diagnosis of the area as well as the establishment of thereference ecosystem to establish the key species and propose different types of treatment toproliferate native species of hills in situ. 5 distributed treatments of 30 plots were established, whichwere evaluated weekly. The results of the present pilot determined that the effective treatment was:substrate -brush- wild seed with a coverage percentage of 46%, which was replicated in 3x3 meterplots in the wet season with a coverage of 75.3%, which shows that the treatment is adequate toproliferate native species on site for restoration programs. The investigation was carried out betweenthe months of July 2018 to September 2019.
