摘要

The combination of lidar and gas-filter correlation technique can overcome many of the DIAL complexities. The laser transmitter bandwidth can be a few times wider then the absorption linewidth without significant reduction of the system detection sensitivity. The pulse to pulse wavelength and line-shape stability requirements are less sever due to the laser's large bandwidth, and the statistical fluctuations of the received backscattered radiation can be greatly reduced, therefore improving the minimum detectable gas density.
