This study developed the creative leadership scale and examined whether LMX mediated the effects of creative leadership on employee creativity and also examined how psychological empowerment moderated the relationship between creative leadership and employee creativity. Result of regression analysis showed that LMX partially mediated the relationship between creative leadership and employee creativity; and psychological empowerment moderated the relationship between creative leadership and employee creativity in such a way that the relationship will be stronger for people with higher, rather than lower psychological empowerment. Implications for research and practice of our findings are discussed.
