Nowadays, piezoelectric materials are widely used in various applications such as actuators, sensors, and transducers. However, most of the piezoelectric devices are fabricated from lead-based piezoelectric materials. To replace lead-based ones, various lead-free piezoelectrics have been investigated. Among of them, (Bi_(0.5)Na_(0.5))TiO3-BaTiO3 (BNT-BT) ceramics system is are one of the candidates for lead-free piezoelectric materials because of their high Curie temperature. However, BNT-BT ceramics have poor piezoelectric properties which are difficult to use in real applications.
