Determine how best to control traffic flow in, around, out of a circle is currently a hard problem. We provide 3 models here to solve it. Combined with Chinese actual situation of traffic circle, its radius usually varies from 20 to 50 meters and the channelization level is low. We would choose model I: the single annular lane without signal control if the traffic volume varies from 0 to 1000 pcu/h. And we choose model II and model III: the dual annular lanes without signal control if the traffic volume varies from 1000 pcu/h to 3500 pcu/h.
