A recurrent identification procedure by the method of least squares is considered to determine the parameters of the large-sized object moving process model by the example of a ship's descent on a slipway. The dynamics of the adjustment of the values of the components of the model main matrix and the state vector obtained as a result of calculations is shown. The conditions for the end of the identification procedure and its re-activation are determined.
