Impact of sulfation is most pronounced at 250°C than at higher temperatures due to higher S amount trapped at lower T.; S-induced deterioration is dependant only on the trapped S amount and does not accelerate with inc. S concentration in the exhause.; Lower NO_2 make value reached at saturation upon sulfation with higher S concn, fuel than using fuel with lower S content; Cu-zeolite based SCR shows significant S-uptake. However, with optimized volume/layout and DeSO_x strategy, the impact of S-induced deactivation can be avoided during real life operation.
