This paper attempts to explain what systemic understanding of the world means to Indians, how it has influenced its approach towards work and what implication it holds for modern organizations working in India or with large number of Indian employees. It concludes that acknowledgment of delayed impact of current activities, bottom up planning and control, tolerance for diversity and experiential learning as against propositional learning are some of the organisational manifestations of the systemic orientation of Indian employees.
