According to the analysis results of normal gait data, a method of gait trajectory planning based least squares curve fitting is proposed. Given the generalized m-th order polynomial functions, the coefficients for functions are determined, then, a health hip and knee gait trajectory planning functions were obtained. The computer data analysis results show that the gait trajectory fitted can represent a normal gait accurately.
