Research on Center Village Location Based on AHP and GIS Spatial Analysis

The purpose of this paper is to solve the key problem of the planning of new countryside how to select the central village location. The research methods: The paper takes study town as the experimental subject, based on the second national land investigation. It determines each evaluating indicator's weight by the AHP law and builds the indicator system of land-potentiality evaluation. It gets each village's parameters through the GIS spatial analysis. Get the comprehensive scores of country-potentiality with integrated analysis of multi-factors. It chooses Cluster analysis to classify the result. Finally, it verifies the classification with the Voronoi theory and Central place theory. It is concluded that the central village location based on AHP and GIS is reasonable and it can provide evidence for the planning of new countryside.
