Gender Differences to promote social policies of prevention

Introduction. Today the violence to women is a recognized phenomenon like sexual violence and violation of human's basic rights from international community. Materials and Methods. At the European Council (1997) a group of experts, that works to fight the violence to woman, wrote the final report of its activity when it emphasizes that the sexual violence is recognized like violation of human's basic rights; often the violence to woman is a combination of different types of violence; about this phenomenon the men and woman's positions are different: the woman are more victims than men that, instead, are guilty. It's important to talk about this phenomenon to take preventive measures to built consciously with young people the oneself and the other. Results. The comparison between the males and females admits to find one in front of other, to tell and to rely on listener (Borghi, 2003). Trough the comparison is possible to learn an social and cultura interpretation of phenomenons more conscious and so a way to stimulate a process of identity's construction more conscious. Conclusions. The work on difference "for ex. between male and female word" is the key for all differences (Burr, 2000).
