Integrated Innovation as a Design Process or ‘Learning to Embrace Chaos’

We could call it ‘focused chaos’ or maybe ‘planned chaos.’ For our purposes, however, we’ll refer to it with a more refined and palatable name: Integrated Innovation. So many of us are interested in labeling and branding our own process, for the purposes of laying claim to its ownership. Still, many more make a science of building a complex framework and unwieldy process with rigid requirements and checkpoints. I’m not here to shoot holes in existing processes and methods, but rather to illustrate how Balance uses our Integrated Innovation process to move design programs forward quickly and successfully.
