Dr. H. John Caulfield: Outstanding Scientist and Magnificent Friend

摘要

After working in industry for many years, Dr. H. John Caulfield and I founded the Center for Applied Optics (CAO) at The University of Alabama in Huntsville in 1985. He was instrumental in developing not only the CAO into an internationally recognized research center, but in promulgating optics throughout the College of Science and College of Engineering, and in the myriad of technology companies and Government organizations in the Tennessee Valley.
