摘要

To reveal the essential functional group in uric acid structure, 5-hydroxybenzimida-zolinones as simplified analogues were synthesized and the antioxidative activity was evaluated. In the DPPH radical scavenging assay and suppression of lipid peroxida-tion, designed derivatives showed higher activity than uric acid itself and edaravone, a clinically available radical scavenger.
