Laser Point Tracking is algorithm dedicated to rapidly moving lasergenerated blob. Even if common tracking problems like occlusion, intense background noises or illumination changes do not exist there we found it challenging to track that simple shape. Proposed method, by usage of few features: brightness, area and velocity, is able to overcome several problems, which occur there. Fast movement of laser makes its trail blurred and dark. We propose methodology to find optimal parameters for LPT. On the end of this paper there are test results comparison with novel trackers and description of real system, where our tracker found use.
