A Probe into the Status Quo of Chinese Seafarers: Problems and Solutions

摘要

China is a large shipping power which has a rich labor resource in seafaring. But along with the rapid development of shipping market in the recent years,there comes a situation that the high qualified seafarers are shortage. This paper describes the situation of the present Chinese seafarers' labor market,analyzes reasons why China lacks high qualified seafarers,and puts forward the countermeasures to boost the Chinese seafarers and quality by making joint efforts from the government,enterprises and navigation institutions in China.
