The model described as "A Master Hand trains a great apprentice", which can be used to train senior " blue collar" in modern enterprises, has been successfully run 12yrs in Dalian Heavy Industries Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as DHI and DHI ? DCW Group Co., Ltd. is referred to as DHI ? DCW). And the model has become one of the best models to guarantee to cultivate high skilled personnel in proportion. The text below tries to analyze the typical case in which the model is used to train high skilled personnel. And the results show that the " A Master Hand trains a great apprentice" model can be in line with modern theory on communication and transformation of tacit knowledge, and have the function to exact effectively the skilled experts' tacit knowledge, which then is transferred to middleaged and young workers, so that the mechanics team of the enterprise can retain, communicate and continue the specific skills.
