Although around 80% of children with disabilities are schooled in specific or ordinary centres, thepercentage of young people with disabilities who start a university decreases acutely to only 20%.Spanish universities are prepared to receive students with disabilities and offer a wide catalogue ofservices to support them. However, it is possible that high school students with disabilities are notaware of these possibilities. Therefore, with the purpose of approximating college education to highschool students who suffer some type of disability, the University of Murcia and the Polytechnic ofCartagena organized a “Campus without limits” or “Inclusive Campus” from 18th to 22nd of July 2011During that week, 30 high school students with disabilities were invited to participate in thisexperience. The program of activities included visits to college facilities (all of them technicallyadapted to gather people with special needs), conferences about the different degrees offered by theuniversity and sharing experiences with young people with disabilities who are currently studying atuniversity
