摘要

The term ‘differentiated instruction’ has been used in the context of K-12 education in order to describe a set of strategies aiming at providing individualized instruction for students at different readiness levels. It describes an instructional design in which, while the class as a whole still follows a common instruction plan, the incorporation of activities that students perform, either individually or in groups, allows for an additional component that the student and the teacher have the opportunity to adjust to the ability level of individual students.
