University faculty perceptions of the technology education needs in the food, environmental and natural resources system

摘要

The purpose of this research project was to ascertain expert opinions and perceptions of university and college level faculty concerning the technology education needs in the food, environmental and natural resources system projected for the year 2005. A modified Delphi technique was used to ascertain expert perceptions. The findings of this study identified core concepts, principles, applications and competencies related to the technology education needs in the food, environmental and natural resources system for entry-level positions. The results of this study provide directions for future educational and curriculum needs for the secondary educational system.
