PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To assist a user who utilizes knowledge contents provided by one or more educational institutions such as a university through schooling, correspondence education, and a communication network such as the Internet in setting a target of research or learning, clarifying required knowledge or units, selecting and applying for knowledge contents, self-managing the knowledge or units acquired by the user, communicating with other students and persons in charge of instruction, announcing research activities and activity results and making use of them for proving the user's knowledge, experience, and ability, and also making use of them for human resource management, employment, and job application.;SOLUTION: The system enables the user to make a plan for research and learning and record it and further to derive a target of the next research and learning, provides various services for assisting research and learning via a network such as the Internet.
