A sensor is a device which switches external information such as physical and chemical stimuli into electric signal through which environmental change can be detected. Sensors can avoid danger in advance or reduce damage of accidents with operation of machines just as human can effectively response to environmental change through many sensory organs. Highly sensitive sensors can provide safety warning for what we cannot sense at proper time.
