Modeling of Smart Ship

摘要

This paper considers the application of artificial intelligence (AI) techniques to the modeling, navigation and control of surface ships. Initially the elements of an intelligent machine are described and then the ship as an intelligent machine is discussed. It is concluded that there will be dramatic increase in the use of AI in all aspects of marine control in the next few years.
