Over the past decades,electrochemical sulfuration of semiconductors (II-VI and III-V) was developed in order to passivate their surface.The process is based on the oxidation/dissolution of the SC,followed by the precipitation on its surface of a sulfide (cation+HS~--> cation-S+H~+).
