摘要

This paper refers to a mew simulatiom method of vibration of engine valve train system using the transition matrix method. This is a kind of step-by-step numerical calculation method, making indirect use of Taylor series. As the calculations are made, taking into consideration the constant coefficients in the equation of motion, it has the advantage that the time required for marking calculations can be so much reduced. First, for the purpose of evaluating the new simulation method, the authors compare the simulated results with the measured results. The calculated results are shown to agree sufficiently with the measured results. Next, jump and bounce have become larger with the increase of the number of rotations of cam axis, judging from the experimented results. Moreover, changing the parameters simulated the tendency of jump and bounce. From the calculated result, an example of the measure for improving the jump and bounce were also examined.
