摘要

Recently, many kinds of vehicles are developed which have various power units and body shapes. In this background, this paper presents the theoretical analysis concerning the influence of the following two items on vehicle dynamics, (1) The layout of vehicle inertia axis (2) Engine mounting system. We analyze the transfer functions from steering angle to roll angle and yaw rate making use of vehicle model. As a result, we declare that the gain of transfer functions changes in high frequency range, and explain the mechanisms of these changing. The high frequency gain influences a transitional situation of lane change. Finally, we confirm the theoretical analysis by using experimental vehicles.
