Spontaneous Self-Stratification Without Shaking: 'Potatoes from Mashed Potatoes'

摘要

We briefly describe the phenomenon of spontaneous self-strati-fication and spontaneous self-segregation in granular mixtures. We also briefly introduce some attempts to understand these phenomena.
