INTEGRATION LEVELS IN GENERIC PROTOTYPING APPROACH

摘要

The generic prototyping approach (GPA) has been conceived as a pragmatical contribution to get higher efficiency on system development investments. The mtegrability of target components developed according to this approach is the major concern in case of GPA utilisation for complex system engineering. The paper aims at presenting the integration aspects specific to this approach. An integration framework is proposed, with compatibility and connectivity dimensions dealing with intra- and inter-GP integration, respectively. Different levels of integration are proposed for requirements analysis and solutions definition within this framework. Finally, a project for production control at the shopfloor level is briefly presented as a case study of the GPA utilization in the field of DSS.
