摘要

This paper studies the impact of Information and Communication technology on the learningenhancement of the students in a formal learning environment of French as a Foreign Languageclassroom in an Indian Secondary School, The Galaxy Education System, Rajkot, India [1]. This paperanalyses four stakes in shifting from Face to Face teaching towards Blended Learning: i) Theimportance/priority given to French as a Foreign Language in school context, ii) Integration of BlendedLearning in French class, iii) Working on Reading and Writing skills in off-classroom situation with thehelp of Information and Communication technology tools, iv) Online correction of the texts written bystudents. This study was carried out over a period of two years 2011/12-2012/13 with a group ofstudents (N=40) who were taught by blending the Face to Face teaching with the Online Learning. Thequantitative and qualitative results showed that many out of these students availed a positiveexperience through this Model. The results of their performances in tests showed that there was adifference in learning outcomes between learners using Blended Learning and the ones not using it.
