The current trend in language learning is the creation of mobile learning resources, Mobile Assisted Language Learning (MALL). In this work it is reviewed the theoretical framework of this discipline. We have created a template with the quality parameters that must fulfil the resources for Spanish selflearning as a foreign language in this learning mode. In addition, we have applied this template to some MALL applications to verify its success.
