The poor English proficiency, particularly ESL communicative ability remains a prominent problem formany graduates in Malaysia and this has impeded their employability chances (Nor Aslah Adzmi,2009; Noriah Ismail, Supyan Hussin & Saadiyah Darus 2012a; Noriah Ismail & Intan Safinas MohdAriff Albakri, 2012) and has led them to become unemployed for many years (Posiah Mohd Isa, SitiAkmar Abu Samah & Kamaruzaman Jusoff, 2008; Noriah Ismail et al.2010; Noriah Ismail et al.2013).The study analyzed ESL students' communicative competency and needs as well as their readinesstowards e-training. The instrument used is a set of needs analysis survey questionnaire which wasdeployed on 41 fresh graduates of BBA (Bachelor of Business Management) from Universiti TeknologiMARA, Johor Branch. The result from the needs analysis survey showed that the students perceivedthat an ESP e-training course would be beneficial for them in order to enhance their ESL proficiency.The study also revealed that the students are weak at and need academic and report writing skills aswell as proposal writing and presentation skills.
