摘要

Cobalt doped CdS nanoparticles were prepared by chemical precipitation method. The prepared powder were characterized by various analytical techniques such as Powder XRD, SEM, ED AX, Magnetic and spectroscopic analysis of nanoparticles as a function of cobalt concentration have been systematically studied. The XRD study confirms the high crystalline nature of prepared compounds and the presence of hexagonal phase of the CdS nanoparticles. The particle size of CdS nanoparticles are calculated by Schercr's formula and it is found that the particles are in the range of 8 to 10 nm.
