The aim of the paper is to establish the main steps of technologies to obtain the sample of composite material with layers reinforcement (figure 1) and particles reinforcement (figure 2). In general the methodology (for layers reinforcement) consist in: the premould of a rectangular metallic support on which we shall align the uniformly tensioned wave; the premould will be introduced in the steel mould and the whole assembly will be heated in an inert atmosphere of Argon; the inner surfaces will be protected with refractory paint based on aluminum oxide; the contact surfaces between the mould-piston will be covered with a refractory paint; after removing the slag, the liquid matrix is poured over the premould from the mould and the piston goes down; the solidification; the electrolytic polishing and finishing of surfaces; half of the batch of the test bars broken by traction will be boiled in caustic soda; accurately measurements on the electron-scan microscope; calculations the thickness of the aluminum carbide layer. The main steps of technology with particle reinforcement (figure 2) consist of: introduction the Si-C particles into the aluminum liquid matrix, mixed, heating the all mixture, cooling of all mixture into the crystallization, solidification, the extraction of composite material reinforcement.
