摘要

We report structural, magnetic, magneto-transport and the effect of ferroelectric poling on electrical properties of La_(0.8)Ca_(0.2)MnO_3 thin films deposited on 0.67Pb(Mg_(1/3)Nb_(2/3))O_3-0.33PbTiO_3 (PMN-PT) substrate with SrRuO_3 buffer layer. The films were grown by pulsed layer deposition technique. XRD pattern indicates that the films are single crystalline. We find that ferroelectric poling reduces the in-plane tensile strain in the LCMO/SRO bilayer, which gives rise to a decrease in electrical resistance over the whole temperature range. In essence, we report control of electrical resistance of a ferromagnetic material through interface stain coupling.
