Infrared Study on Synthetic Peptide Analogues of the EF-hand Motif of Tobacco Calmodulin

摘要

Infrared spectroscopy was applied to study the synthetic peptide analogues corresponding to the EF-hand motif of tobacco calmodulin isoforms: NtCaMl, NtCaM 3 and NtCaM 13. These isoforms were compared and discussed on the basis of the spectral pattern of these EF-hand peptides in the apo and Ca~(2+)-loaded states.
