In the present experiments, we tried to construct an expression vector encoding poly(VPGIG) with AG73 (RKRLQVQLSIRT) which promotes neurite outgrowth. DNA encoding poly(VPGIG) was elongated via non-palindrome BanI sticky-end and was induced into expression vector using BbsI restriction enzyme. AG73-(VPGIG)_(30) was obtained by E. coli expression and it showed temperature transition and neurite outgrowth of PC12 cells.
