For the problem of time-varying, nonlinear and time-delay in ventilation system, this paper addressed variable-frequency fuzzy PID control for highway tunnel ventilator, which has disadvantages both dynamic performance of fuzzy control and the steady performance of the PID algorithm. Fuzzy PID algorithm depends on export's experience and fuzzy reasoning, and it can carry out Energy-saving from enhancing ventilator dynamic performances and decreasing the start-up times. The result of simulations shows the effective of proposed approach.
