摘要

The goal of this work is to present analysis for various controllers for speed control of DC motor. Six types of controllers, namely PID Controller, fuzzy logic controller, fuzzy PID controller, Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) based tuning of PID controller, Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) based tuning of Fuzzy controller, and Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) based tuning of Fuzzy PID controller will be used to control the speed of separately excited DC motor. The main objective of this comparison is to consider time domain specifications of the controller such as overshoot, rising time, settling time and stationary error. This comparative study is made using computer simulation. Simulation results demonstrate that the behavior of Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) based tuning of Fuzzy PID controller is better than the other controller for the speed control of DC motor.
