Public concern focuses on the potential greater sensitivity of children to RF exposure. Very few related investigations have dealt with in utero and newborn exposure particularly at? 2450 MHz fields and even less with the Wi-Fi signal. We thus studied the impact of Wi-Fi exposure on the developing immune system of young mice. Pregnant C57 BL/6 mice were exposed or sham-exposed to 2.45 GHz Wi-Fi signals with whole-body SAR levels in the free-running configuration at 0, 0.08, 0.4, and 4 W/kg. The whole-body exposure lasted 7 weeks (2 weeks in utero plus weeks_post-natal, 2 hours per day, 5 days per week). The endpoints were related to Miniature splenocyte immunity via the assessment of splenocytes phenotype and proliferation, NK cells cytotoxicity and the expression.pattern of cytokines and activation markers.
